St Chad’s Middlesmoor
The beautiful church of St Chad’s has often been said to have one of the best views from any church in England, overlooking the breath-taking beauty of the Nidderdale Valley. The present Grade 2 listed church dates from 1866, but there has been a church here since earliest times. Inside the church is an old preaching cross which legend says St Chad preached near.
