This month saw the first ever Artisan Market take place on Nidderdale Show Ground in Pateley Bridge. With over 40 traders, including several local businesses, shoppers were treated to all kinds of gifts and goodies. From handmade candles, kids clothing, artwork, cakes and biscuits, and woodwork; there was something for everyone.
Nidderdale Show Ground look especially colourful filled with stalls, plus fairground rides and a very talented face painter made sure little ones had a great time too. The market proved popular with locals, giving them the chance to discover new makers, with lots more visitors coming from miles around. Several local businesses showcased their products, some online shops exhibited in person for the first time. A local cricket match added to the atmosphere, and traders were kept busy all day long, with shoppers still arriving at closing time.
After many successful events in Ripon professional events organiser, Jackie Crozier, chose Pateley Bridge as the next venue for her popular Little Bird Artisan Market. We are very happy to welcome her back, so don’t worry if you missed the first event, there are 3 more dates in the diary for this summer. Fingers crossed Jackie brings the sunshine with her every time!
