Summerbridge and Dacre Silver Band is proud to be the last remaining band in the dale, able to trace its roots back to 1902.
We have strong community links and derive great satisfaction performing at events and concerts throughout the year around the dale, as well as playing for special occasions such as weddings.
Free tuition is available via our training group which meets before the main band practice each week. This is open to children and adults and our aim is to teach you to read music and play a brass instrument so that you can join the band as soon as possible and start to enjoy making music.
