Birchfield Farm – Open Farm Sunday

We will be opening our gates to the farm to show you an insight in to farming life to demonstrate and educate. We will have:

• Milking demonstrations
• Farm tours around the animals and crops with Farmer Tom
• Woodland crafts and children’s activity’s
• Short and long woodland walks
• Machinery on display
• Watch the sheep loose there woolly jumpers in a shearing demonstration
• Meet the animals and lots more
• Hot food , drinks and homemade ice cream
• Hog roast served from 12 o’clock

LEAF Open Farm Sunday is a fantastic opportunity for everyone, young and old, to discover at first hand what it means to be a farmer and the fabulous work they do producing our food, enhancing the countryside and all the goods and services farmers provide.
