The Carter family have been welcoming guests to The Sportsman’s Arms hotel and restaurant for over thirty years now. Magnificent food, a truly welcoming atmosphere and attention to the smallest detail it really is the perfect venue for any celebration whether it’s a wedding, birthday or anniversary.
With a menu that includes a wide range of game – much of it shot within a mile of the restaurant – we probably serve more grouse, pheasant, partridge, woodcock and mallard than anywhere else in the area. Daily deliveries from the coast ensure that we only ever serve the very freshest fish and seafood and we also offer an extensive selection of wines to complement any dish.
